  • Hi,

    I just purchased the calendar but i cannot make it work. My problems are:
    1. I would like to remove all the reservation forms and keep only the calendar (as it was in version 1.1, example you can see in the url https://www.e-table.gr/en/restaurant/archontiko-to-1).
    2. I change the value of multipleSelect to false from true in order the user to select one day only and the selection not working. It does not select anything.
    3. I want to disable all the days except the ones that returns from the json data array. Now, i am returning those data but still the next months days are available.
    4. I have my own Json data format which i want to keep, so how easy is to change the .js file in order to support my own json format?
    My format is an array of the following objects
    “2015-11-14″:
    {
    “booking_date”: “2015-11-14″,
    “tables”: 2,
    “persons”: 8,
    “option_id”: 1,
    “offer”: “0%”,
    “offer_title”: “Discount 0%”
    }
    Again an example you can find on the following url in which they are using this object also (https://www.e-table.gr/en/restaurant/archontiko-to-1).

    Regards

    Thomas

    I would like to thank you for the reply, but can you please explain me how to do 1,2,3.
    I apologize for asking this from here, but i don’t have any ftp ans a link with the calendar to provide you because it is still in development environment on a local server. I cannot upload it to the main server because it will be visible to the public. So you help me from here? Can you please explain me how to remove the forms from the js file? otherwise i have to build a temp project with the files and send it to you in order to help me.

    Regards

    Thomas

    Hello again,

    I just create a new project, i made a few changes on my code and it looks like i have resolved the problems 1,2,3.
    I need a few more support.
    1. Can you please tell me the exact position of the .js file in order to add a jquery code to update the value of a hidden field in order to read the selected day on submit? Or can you please tell me how to get the selected day with jquery?
    2. Can you please help me to change the css to look like the one that appears in https://www.e-table.gr/en/restaurant/archontiko-to-1? They are using the v1.1 of the control and the css is too much different.

    Best Regards

    Thomas

    Hi again,

    Following my previous post, i made some changes in the .js and the .css file for the colors in order the calendar to look close to the example in the link (https://www.e-table.gr/en/restaurant/archontiko-to-1). But i am facing some issues with the responsive ui. Unfortunately it does not work. When i run the project the calendar looks like in the image 1 (1.png) Wrong Responsive on Loading the page, when i restore down the browser the calendar looks like the image 2 (2.png) which is again wrong because it does not calculate the width and the height on browser resize in order to make it responsive Wrong responsive resize on restoring down the browser, and finally when i maximize the browser the calendar it looks ok as in image 3 (3.png) Correct UI on maximizing again the browser. When i press the next or the previous month button then the layout change again as in image 1 (1.png) which is wrong.

    If you cannot see the images following are the Urls to download them:

    I will appreciate your help, as soon as possible, in order to resolve these issues because the calendar must be included in new functionality on an existing production site and we are stacked.

    Best Regards

    Do you have any news about the problems with the responsive of the calendar and how to get the selected date with jquery or onSelect event to set a value on a hidden field?
    This is very urgent, we are talking for a production site…

    Best Regards

    Thomas

    Hi,

    Unfortunately i cannot wait your two days late support. I am wasting a lot of time to wait for a live environment.
    I made a few changes in the .js file in order to make the responsive ui to work. I found that i was getting errors as soon as i am hiding the sidebar forms. So i found the code near the line 351

    which displays and reposition the sidebar fields
    and i change it to
    in order to check also the variable noItems that you have in initialization private variables.

    After that i stopped getting errors and the responsive reposition is working.

    As for the getSelected date, at line near 2000, where you update the checkin field of the sidebar with the selected date i add one more line to update a hidden field since i don’t have the sidebar forms. Is there any other way to get the selected day from jQuery? For example $(‘myCalendarControl’).getSelectedDate();

    Regards

    Thomas
