  • Hello. I have the Wall/Grid Gallery (WordPress Plugin) on the site located at http://namegamegifts.com. The site was migrated to a new hosting provider and all theme and plugin updates were applied. Now, pages with the shortcode just appear blank. I had previously purchased the plugin, but it wouldn’t let me post a support request so I purchased it again. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello

Please send us your wp-admin & ftp info ( as private reply ) to see and fix your problem.

This reply content has been deleted.

This is an automatic action, which occurs after a week, if the user provided sensitive information in a private reply.

Do you have any updates? This website has been basically non-functional for over two-weeks. I tried sending emails, with no reply, so I had to purchase another copy of the plugin just to get into the support console. Now it has been five more days and I am eager to get this resolved. My client is very upset with me for taking so long to provide a solution. Please help. Also, if you login to the wordpress site, please note that the login page is not /wp-admin for security reasons.

I’m curious on this topic as well…but it looks like there’s been no movement for a while.

    Hello,

I am sorry for the delay.

Have you tried to reset the Permalinks ?
Go to Settings (WP) -> Permalinks -> set another option -> save it -> set the initial one back.
    Refresh the page.

The website says, should I proceed ?

    Best Regards,
    Support Team

Thank you for the reply. The site was automatically updated. I just completed the database upgrade.

I also tried resetting the permalinks and had no success.

Some examples of the pages that are not working are below:
    http://www.namegamegifts.com/jewelry-boxes/savings-banks/
    http://www.namegamegifts.com/jewelry-boxes/jewelry-boxes-2/
    http://www.namegamegifts.com/colors-art/colors/

These pages are located under Products and Colors&Art.

I’m sorry to be nagging, but it has been nearly 3 weeks since my first support request and I really don’t know what to do here. If this cannot be fixed, then I need to know so that I can start looking for a different plugin. If it can be fixed, then I would really appreciate some sort of update so I can know what to expect. I would very must appreciate some sort of assistance with this issue. Thank you, Brett.

It appears that this file exists and has the correct permissions. Any other ideas? Here is what I found:

    SOLVED – SUCURI SECURITY
Thank you for your help. Providing the 403 error information led me to check the security settings for the website. I installed a plugin called ‘Sucuri Security’. This plugin has the following setting:

    Restrict wp-content access
This option blocks direct access to any PHP file located under the content directory of this site. The note under the “Protect uploads directory” section also applies to this option so you may want to read that part too. If you experience any kind of issues in your site after you apply this hardening go to the content directory using a FTP client or a file manager (generally available in your hosting panel) and rename a file named .htaccess.

If this setting is enabled (referred to as hardening), it breaks the dopwgg plugin. Oddly, just renaming the main .htaccess file did not allow access to this directory. I couldn’t find any other .htaccess file, so I’m not sure exactly how it works. Anyhow, disabling this function fixed the site. Hopefully this helps somebody else.

    Thank you! – Problem solved.
